Transcorp Hilton Abuja Dismisses Water Shortage Claims, Confirms Issue Resolved

Transcorp Hilton Abuja has refuted reports circulating on social media about an ongoing water supply problem, describing the claims as inaccurate and misleading.

In a statement released on Friday, the hotel’s General Manager, Matin Zarybnicky, explained that the facility experienced only a temporary disruption in water supply caused by emergency maintenance carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board (FCTWB).

According to the statement, the maintenance work began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, briefly affecting water availability. However, the hotel swiftly implemented contingency measures to ensure guests continued to receive uninterrupted services during the short period.

Management confirmed that normal water supply was fully restored on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, and stressed that the issue had since been resolved, contrary to claims suggesting otherwise.

The hotel added that it has maintained steady water supply and continues to operate at full capacity across all its facilities.

It also expressed gratitude to guests and stakeholders for their patience and support, while reaffirming its commitment to delivering top-quality hospitality and service excellence.
