Activate Success International Foundation (ASIF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship development, and enterprise activation, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening youth entrepreneurship and digital financial inclusion across Nigeria through the 2026 edition of its Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme (YEEP).
To drive this objective, the organisation announced a strategic partnership with Flutterwave, one of Africa’s leading payments technology firms.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ASIF, Love Idoko-Uloko, disclosed this in a press statement on Friday, noting that the collaboration will significantly enhance the organisation’s impact. She emphasized that the partnership would also create opportunities for beneficiaries to access additional enterprise support programmes, thereby strengthening pathways for sustainable business growth.
According to Idoko-Uloko, the initiative is rooted in empowering young Nigerians with practical resources rather than dependency. She explained that YEEP has consistently focused on delivering tangible opportunities such as funding, skills development, and access to markets, and that the partnership with Flutterwave will expand these benefits to more entrepreneurs nationwide.
Under YEEP 2026, the programme will provide grants, digital financial tools, and enterprise support to young Nigerians seeking to build and grow sustainable businesses. Over the past decade, ASIF has established YEEP as a credible platform for enterprise development, offering training, mentorship, and financial support to emerging entrepreneurs.
In 2025, the programme disbursed over ₦50 million in cash and equipment grants to selected participants with viable business ideas. That edition attracted more than 2,000 attendees, while ASIF’s broader youth engagement initiatives—including activities at National Youth Service Corps orientation camps—reached over 30,000 young people nationwide.
As the lead sponsor of YEEP 2026, Flutterwave will deploy its full payment ecosystem, including the Send App, merchant solutions, and digital financial infrastructure. These tools will enable beneficiaries to receive payments efficiently, manage transactions, and scale their businesses more effectively.
Also speaking, Flutterwave’s Founder and CEO, Olugbenga Agboola, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to building Africa’s financial infrastructure. He stated that the partnership with ASIF provides an opportunity to place essential digital tools directly in the hands of young entrepreneurs, helping them formalize and grow within the digital economy.
YEEP 2026 is scheduled to hold on June 18, 2026, in Abuja. Beyond the main event, the collaboration will extend to NYSC orientation camps across the country, where thousands of corps members will be introduced to digital financial tools, payment solutions, and financial management systems.
The organisers noted that the initiative aligns with Nigeria’s broader goals of expanding financial inclusion and increasing youth participation in economic activities. They emphasized that improving access to digital financial tools is crucial for unlocking productivity in the country’s largely informal economy and enabling young people to transition into more formal and sustainable business systems.
