Sowore Criticizes Tinubu’s Administration, Warns of Possible Terrorist Takeover in Parts of Nigeria

Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the worsening security situation in the country.

Reacting to a viral video showing a recent terrorist attack, Sowore warned that more regions in Nigeria risk falling under terrorist control if the federal government fails to act swiftly and decisively.

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sowore described the current administration as both “ineffective” and “corrupt,” accusing it of lacking the leadership needed to tackle the escalating insecurity.

He wrote: “Nigeria’s security situation has massively deteriorated under the ineffective and corrupt regime of @officialABAT, making it conceivable that more sizable portions of Nigeria may fall under terrorist control, as witnessed in Syria.

“The country—Nigeria—is without leadership direction at present. #RevolutionNow.”
