Reasons APC doesn’t want e-transmission of results -PDP lawmaker

Member representing Isialangwa North in the Abia State House of Assembly, Ginger Onwusibe, has warned the All Progressives Congress against any attempt to rig the 2023 election in his constituency.

Onwusibe handed down the warning while reacting to the rejection of the e-voting process by the APC during the 53rd birthday celebration by the member representing Isialangwa North and South at the National Assembly, Darlington Nwokocha.

He observed that the opposition party was against the electronic transmission of results “because they want to rig the 2023 general elections,” adding that they cannot succeed in Isialangwa North.

The lawmaker wondered why the APC would oppose the process when the world is advancing technologically, stressing that he supports the process and would do everything to advance it.

He noted that e-voting is the only way to vote out leaders who are not doing well and should therefore be adopted for the 2023 general elections.

He accused the APC of planning to rig the 2023 general elections in the country, hence its decision.
