NYSC Shifts Orientation Date for Enugu, Osun Over Camp Renovation

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has postponed the commencement of orientation camps for prospective corps members (PCMs) deployed to Enugu State and Osun State by one week due to ongoing renovation of camp facilities.

In a statement released on Monday, the scheme explained that PCMs assigned to the two states will not resume alongside their counterparts in the remaining 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the orientation programme for affected corps members will now begin on April 28, 2026, and conclude on May 18, 2026.

She noted that the adjustment became necessary to allow for the completion of extensive upgrade works being carried out by the respective state governments.

Meanwhile, orientation camps in all other states, including the Federal Capital Territory, will proceed as earlier scheduled from April 22 to May 12, 2026.

The NYSC urged all affected PCMs to take note of the revised timetable and comply accordingly.
