The President of the Enugu West Unity Forum (EWUF), Arc. Jake Udeh, has commended the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, for what he described as the most successful and peaceful party congress ever conducted in the state.
Speaking on the outcome of the recently concluded congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Arc. Udeh noted that the process stood out for its transparency, organization, and absence of the internal crises often associated with party conventions. He attributed the smooth conduct of the exercise to Governor Mbah’s effective leadership style and governance policies, which he said have repositioned Enugu State for rapid growth and transformation.
According to him, the governor’s administration has delivered remarkable infrastructural development, creating an enabling environment that is fast making Enugu a preferred destination for investors and a model for progressive governance.
Arc. Udeh also congratulated the newly elected State Chairman of the APC, Dr. Martins Chukwunwaike, alongside other state executives who emerged victorious during the March 3, 2026, congress held in Enugu.
“On behalf of myself, the entire EWUF executives, and our members, we congratulate Dr. Chukwunwaike and the newly elected state executives. We wish them a successful tenure marked by unity, progress, and victory for the party,” he stated.
Reaffirming the forum’s political commitment, the EWUF President assured the new leadership of the group’s unwavering support, solidarity, and strategic partnership. He emphasized that mobilizing support for Governor Mbah’s re-election in the 2027 gubernatorial election remains a core objective of the forum.
Arc. Udeh further declared that the Enugu West Unity Forum is committed to galvanizing voters across the Enugu West Senatorial District to deliver overwhelming support at the polls, underscoring the group’s resolve to sustain what he described as the visionary leadership currently shaping the state’s future.
