Bukky Wright Sounds Alarm as Scammers Create Fake Accounts in Her Name

Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has raised an alarm over fake social media accounts created in her name to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

In a post shared on her official Instagram page on Thursday evening, the UK-based actress urged her fans and followers to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to impostors posing as her online.

Wright specifically disowned a post advertising a UK job vacancy, describing it as “fraudulent.” She emphasised that she would never request money, personal information, or private conversations through any other account.

“Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I never requested money. I will never request personal information or private chat on any other account. This is my main page,” she stated.

She added, “A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in the UK and we realized it was fraudulent. Please disregard. Your safety and trust mean so much to me.”

The actress advised her supporters to report any suspicious pages and only engage with her verified social media profiles.
