NUT Stages Protest Rally in Lagos Over Abduction of Oyo Pupils

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, on Tuesday took to the streets of Ikeja, Lagos State, to hold a solidarity rally over the kidnapping of school children and teachers in Oyo State.

In a video cited, the protesters were seen in large numbers demanding for authorities to rescue the victims in the recent oyo state kidnapping.

Some were seen holding placards with messages such as “End the religion of fear in our schools”, “let teachers teach in peace”.

This protest comes as more Nigerians are calling to the government to rescue the students and teachers who were kidnapped in Oyo State.
