Victor Osimhen reached a major career landmark after netting his 200th professional goal in Galatasaray’s emphatic 4–0 victory over Kayserispor in Sunday night’s Turkish Super Lig clash.
The Super Eagles forward also recorded an assist, capping off an impressive all-round performance for the league leaders.
Osimhen’s tally now stands at 165 goals at club level and 35 for Nigeria. The 27-year-old found the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 26th minute to score Galatasaray’s second goal of the night.
He later turned provider, setting up Gabriel Sara for Okan Buruk’s side’s third goal just after the hour mark.
Osimhen has now registered 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds this season, as Galatasaray remain top of the standings with 49 points.
