This is contained in a letter written by the NUC  dated August 5 and addressed to the vice chancellor of the university.

According to the letter, the NUC called the meeting as part of efforts towards solving the   crisis rocking the university.

The university is jointly owned by Oyo and Osun states, but funding has been a problem facing the varsity.
