Gov. Okpebholo Approves Four Commissioner Nominees for Edo State Executive Council

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the nomination of four individuals for appointment into the State Executive Council.

 

The list of nominees was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor.

 

The nominees are:

 

Nosa Adams – A seasoned legal practitioner and politician, Adams is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and currently the Principal Partner at Nosa Adams & Co. He previously served as the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Edo State, chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Special Adviser to the Governor, and General Manager of the Edo State Rubber Estates.

 

 

Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa – A former chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area, Musa holds academic qualifications in Agriculture and Business Administration. He brings administrative experience and a background in agribusiness to the cabinet.

 

 

Felix Akhabue – A chartered accountant, businessman, and political leader, Akhabue is a former chairman of Esan West Local Government Area and served as commissioner under Governor Godwin Obaseki. He also held the position of National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).

 

 

Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa – An academic expert in Industrial and Production Engineering, Prof. Ikponmwosa holds a PhD in Automation and Control, with degrees from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, University of Benin, and Ambrose Alli University. He is known for his contributions to academic research and engineering education.

 

The nominations mark Governor Okpebholo’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and drive development across key sectors in the state.
