Bandit Leaders Reportedly Killed in Internal Feud During Military Operation

Several suspected bandits have been neutralised during a security operation in Keta community, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The incident was said to have occurred after operatives of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) engaged armed men loyal to notorious bandit leaders operating in the area.

Details of the operation were contained in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst, Bakatsine.

According to the post, the bandits were linked to terror activities around the community, including attacks on residents, looting of property, and destruction of farmlands.

The CJTF operatives reportedly targeted the group during a clearance operation, leading to the neutralisation of several suspected fighters loyal to commanders identified as Kachalla Juli, Uti, and Ibrahim.

Similarly, two notorious bandit leaders have reportedly been killed after a violent clash among armed groups in Tsarika village, Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State.

According to the post, the clash broke out between rival bandit factions, leading to the deaths of two identified gang leaders, Kachalla Liti and Kachalla Sani.

“Reports emerged from Tsarika village in Musawa LGA of Katsina State, indicate that bandits engaged in a violent clash among themselves, leading to the deaths of two notorious gang leaders known as Kachalla Liti and Kachalla Sani.

Many residents are describing the incident as a major blow to criminal networks operating within Musawa/Matazu axis after months of insecurity and attacks on innocent communities.

“May Almighty Allah continue to create division and confusion among armed groups terrorizing our people, weaken their activities and grant lasting peace and security across Katsina State and Nigeria,” Bakatsine said.
