FG Extends Paramilitary Recruitment Deadline by One Week

The Federal Government has announced a one-week extension for the ongoing recruitment into key paramilitary agencies, including the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

This extension was confirmed in a statement issued by the Secretary of the Board overseeing the recruitment process, Major General Abdulmalik Jibril (rtd), in Abuja.

According to the statement, the new closing date for applications is now Monday, 11th August 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of Monday, 4th August 2025.

“The extension aims to give more interested applicants the opportunity to submit their applications and join any of the paramilitary services,” Jibril noted.

He also emphasized that the official recruitment portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, warning applicants to avoid fraudulent websites or individuals promising job placements.

“The Board reiterates that the recruitment process is entirely free and remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent exercise,” the statement concluded.
