The good people of Mmaku in Awgu local government area have set the 4th of January 2022 to honor their representative in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Johnson Chukwuobasi to a grand civic reception.

The reception which is being hosted at the Ajaba Central Square, Mmaku in honor of Chukwuobasi is to appreciate their son for his philanthropy, love and contributions towards his people and community development since elected to power in 2019

The lawmaker who is known for his loyalty towards working for his people to ensure they have a better life has before now attracted a bridge, empowered women and youths, reached out to widows and the needy, supported fight against insecurity and drug abuse, led the committee of professionals to see the state governor which brought about the restoration of the mmaku cottage hospital, empowered over 300 business men and women in his constituents, distributed bags of rice and cash gift to widows and other constituents every new year and Christmas.

He is being honored by his people as a mark of their support and solidarity to their son and a vote of confidence in the Ugwuanyi administration.

Chukwuobasi’s generosity and kind gestures which has helped put a smile on the faces of most of his constituents is the reason why they all came together to host him.
