GOV UGWUANYI restores medical services at mmaku cottage hospital (PHOTO NEWS)

The executive governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will inaugurates the restored Mmaku Cottage Hospital, Awgu on the 4th of January 2022.

The hospital which has since been left with no intervention to bring its services to standard 14 years after being renamed cottage hospital by former Enugu State governor, Chimaroke Nnamani.

UGAMATV recalls that on the 13th of December 2020, the indigenes of Mmaku, professionals alike, as well their traditional ruler, HRH Igwe CM Nevobasi , the Ezeani 111 of Mmaku ancient Kingdom, led by the member representing Awgu south constituency in Enugu State house of assembly, Honorable Johnson Okwudili Chukwuobasi paid a courtesy visit to the Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi where Hon. Johnson Chukwuobasi discussed the utterly dilapidated state of the Mmaku Cottage hospital as well as, lack of water within the hemisphere.

Reacting to their complaint, the Governor flagged off the restoration of the building which has since then been under construction and was completed as of recent.
