In less than two years, he has revived projects that had become monuments of neglect – the International Conference Centre, Sunrise Flour Mills, United Palm Products Ltd (UPPL), Hotel Presidential, and now Niger Gas Limited, a pioneering enterprise founded 62 years ago under Dr. Michael Okpara.

 

NigerGas was Nigeria’s first domestic gas bottling company, producing and distributing LPG (cooking gas) for households and industries. Once a household name, it was run down by years of poor investment and mismanagement, but has now been restored through private sector partnership as a vital player in cleaner, safer energy for our people.
