Blessing CEO Reacts to Alex Ekubo’s Death, Says “God Will Punish Cancer”

Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO has reacted to the death of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo.

The actor reportedly died in a Lagos hospital on Monday after battling stage 4 liver cancer.

Reacting to the news, Blessing CEO expressed grief over his passing, writing on Instagram: “God will punish cancer. We waited for you to show up. You fought silently. Rest in peace.”

Her reaction has since stirred conversations online, especially following the controversy surrounding her earlier claim of battling stage 4 breast cancer.

In March 2026, Blessing CEO had appealed to the public for financial assistance for chemotherapy treatment. However, the claim sparked backlash after the Nigerian Medical Association accused her of allegedly altering another patient’s medical report from Xinus Medical Diagnostics.

The controversy later prompted social media influencer VeryDarkMan to petition the police for an investigation into the matter.
