Kogi State Security Operatives Rescue Abducted Woman and Baby

Security operatives have rescued a woman and her four-month-old baby who were kidnapped during a bandit attack on Ijalu compound in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The rescue cane after suspected bandits invaded the Ijalu area of Egbe on Wednesday evening, abducting the woman and her child during an attack along the Solid Rock School axis of the community.

The victims were freed through a joint operation involving local security personnel in Egbe and troops of the Nigerian Army.

NEWSMEN had earlier reported that the mother and child were kidnappedon Wednesday night when armed attackers invaded the Ijalu community, causing panic among residents.

After the abduction, security operatives were said to have swiftly launched a coordinated search operation to track down the assailants.

The efforts eventually led to the successful rescue of both victims.
