Nollywood Mourns: Funke Akindele Reacts to Alex Ekubo’s Tragic Death

 

 

 

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has mourned the death of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, expressing sadness over the tragic incident.

 

Ugamatv had earlier reported that Alex, who was rushed to the hospital on Monday, died after a prolonged battle with liver cancer.

 

The actor passed away on Tuesday afternoon after spending hours on life support.

 

 

Reacting to the tragic news via her Instagram handle, she wrote: “Hmmmmm. Rest in peace, Alex.

 

“I really tried to reach out to see you one more time, but I guess you knew best. May your kind soul rest in peace, Alex. Ore mi, as you fondly called me, I will always remember and cherish the good times we shared together. REST IN PEACE, ALEX,” she said.
