Armed Men Abduct Veterinary Doctor and Three Kids in Abuja Border Village

Armed men have kidnapped a veterinary doctor, Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, along with his three children in Kungabokun, a border village between the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Niger State.

The attack happened late Wednesday night at around 11:45 p.m. when the assailants forced their way into the doctor’s home through a window and took him and the children away to an unknown location.

Police officers from the Byazhin Division, along with the Anti-Kidnapping Unit and local vigilantes, rushed to the area after the report was made.

They are currently searching nearby forests and hills in an effort to rescue the victims and arrest the attackers.

According to security sources, who spoke to Zagazola Makama, the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has begun an investigation and has assured residents that every possible step is being taken to ensure the safe return of the kidnapped doctor and his children.
