APC Chieftain Declares “Nothing Will Stop Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election” Despite Opposition Efforts

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Farouk Adamu Aliyu, has said that nothing would stop the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Aliyu expressed this confidence on Tuesday while responding to questions in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

He also downplayed the efforts of the opposition ahead of the polls.

“I want you to understand that there are certain things we will not do. It is true that when you are president, there are certain things you don’t do.

“Every problem of this country is being heaped on the president. No, let me concede. There are certain things we attributed to former President Goodluck Jonathan which were not correct.

“No, I realise that there are certain exigencies of the office. So you need to tread with caution.

“And let me tell you that nothing will stop President Bola Tinubu from coming back in 2027,” he said.
