On the combined figure of completed registrations, covering both the online pre-registration and physical (in-person) registration, INEC disclosed that as of Friday, 12 September 2025, a total of 509,929 registrations have been completed. Of this number, 229,758 (45.06%) are male, while 280,171 (54.94%) are female.

Providing an update on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), INEC reiterated that the online pre-registration there will close on Monday, 15 September 2025. For the next two weeks, physical (in-person) registration will be conducted at designated venues.

INEC added that it will devolve registration to all 62 wards in the FCT from 29 September to 8 October 2025, with the detailed addresses of the centres already uploaded to its official platforms.

The Commission urged eligible Nigerians to seize the opportunity to register, ensuring their participation in future elections.
