WIKE MOCKS APC OVER FAILED PROMISES

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said the All Progressives Congress has failed Nigerians on all counts.

He berated the party for making excuses for its failures rather than facing governance.

Wike said this while receiving the Rivers State executive of the Peoples’ Democratic Party which paid him a courtesy visit at Government House,  Port Harcourt on Thursday.

He recalled that before the 2015 elections, the APC was full of promises but these promises have since been replaced by excuses.

Wike said “Nigeria is hoping for PDP because the APC has failed Nigeria. This is no more time for promises.  You have promised and you have failed. There is nothing to try you again. Nigerians have realized that it is better they stay with the PDP that has the interest of Nigeria at heart than a party that gives excuses every day.

“You know there are problems in Nigeria and you made promises, asking Nigerians to vote for you and for five years, nothing has changed.”

Wike told the delegation that he was focused on service delivery as such the people of the state should rest assured that he would deliver on his promises to them.
