Uncertainty Over 2027: Peter Obi Says ADC Presidential Ticket Not Guaranteed

Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate, has voiced uncertainty about securing the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a video message shared with his supporters, Obi noted that there is no assurance he will emerge as the party’s flagbearer. According to him, the focus remains on their collective mission rather than personal ambition.

He reflected on the current political climate, questioning how things evolved and what could happen if their movement loses momentum.

Despite the uncertainty, Obi reaffirmed his dedication to his objectives, stressing that alleged threats have not discouraged him. He also commended his supporters for their perseverance, acknowledging the challenges that come with being part of the opposition in Nigeria.

Obi expressed gratitude to those who have remained loyal despite not seeing immediate gains, describing their support as a sacrifice.

However, he raised concerns about the unpredictability of political alliances, noting that there are no guarantees that current partners will remain committed in the future.
