Tragic service of songs announcement for 3 brothers who di£d after being trapped in building during fire at Great Nigeria Insurance House

A family has announced the service of songs for three brothers who di£d when they were trapped in the fire the gutted the Great Nigeria Insurance House in Balogun, Lagos.

 

The fire began on Wednesday, Dec. 24, trapping traders.

 

Sadly, the fire also resulted in the collapse of a building which further trapped more people who were evacuating their goods to avoid loss.

 

Three brothers – Stephen Onyeka Omatu, Casmir Nnabuike Omatu, Collins Kenechukwu Omatu – were sadly among those who did not make it out alive.

 

Their service of songs holds tomorrow, Jan. 7, 2026.

 

According to reports, the brothers are orphans. They leave behind two sisters and two brothers – one a Catholic Priest.
