Tiwa Savage Reveals She’s Now Looking for Wealthier Men After Past Relationship Mistakes

Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has said she made mistakes in her previous relationships by dating men who are not more financially buoyant than her.

The ‘Koroba’ hitmaker said she’s now looking forward to correcting her mistakes by dating wealthier men.

In a candid interview with Zeze Mills, Savage explained that she’s at a point in her life where being wealthy is a criterion for choosing a romantic partner.

“I used to make mistake dating down saying I don’t care if you’re not making money, it’s just love. But now, I think I need someone that just has money. I think I’m at that point now. Love is really nice but you can judge me for wanting a wealthier person if you want,” she said.

The singer added, “I want to try that [dating someone who’s wealthier], I have tried the other way for so many years. Let me try what it’s like dating a wealthy man.”

UGAMATV recalls that Tiwa Savage married her former manager Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz, in 2013 but they divorced in 2018 after attempts to resolve their differences proved futile.

Their marriage produced a son called Jamil.
