Tinubu’s Administration Deserves Continued Support for Peace and Prosperity- Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has solicited continued support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to enable him to achieve lasting peace and prosperity in the country.
He said Nigerians should also unite by embodying national unity and collective sacrifice.
The number two citizen also advised Nigerians to look beyond their differences and work to forge common ground for national progress.

Shettima called on Friday during the Eid al-Adha prayers at the National Eid Ground along Airport Road, Abuja.

According to the vice president, Eid al-Adha is a solemn occasion rooted in the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience, sacrifice, and values.

He noted that these were essential virtues for building a strong and united Nigeria.

Shettima said Eid-el-Kabir is a period of sober reflection, a season of reaching out to the indigent among us, and of building bridges of brotherhood and sisterhood.

According to the Vice President, “Life is a marathon, and as individuals, we may run faster, but we can wear out easily. But as a family, as a collective, as a nation, we can gain greater traction and reach our desired destination.”

Speaking about his principal, Shettima said citizens must learn to stand behind President Tinubu’s leadership, stressing that unity of purpose and shared sacrifice are vital in addressing issues such as insecurity and poverty.

“What binds us together supersedes whatever divides us. I thank all Nigerians for their support and empathy and call on all of us to coalesce into a single purse to confront all of our common challenges of insecurity, destitution, and so many other challenges,” he said.
