Tinubu Reappoints Muheeba Dankaka as FCC Chair, Names New Commissioners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reappointed Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for a second five-year term.

 

The President also named Mohammed Musa as the Commission’s Secretary and retained Kayode Oladele from Ogun State as Commissioner. Oladele, a former House of Representatives member, was appointed to the Commission in 2024 and served as Acting Chairman after the expiration of Dankaka’s first term.

 

In addition, Tinubu renewed the appointments of Lawal Ya’u Roni (Jigawa), Abubakar Atiku Bunu (Kebbi), and Eludayo Eluyemi (Osun) for a second term.
