Tinubu Meets Macron in Paris for Private Working Lunch

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a private working lunch with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

 

The development was disclosed by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, in a post on X.

 

 

 

“President Bola Tinubu, with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, during a working private lunch at the Elysee Palace, Paris. Wednesday, September 10, 2025,” Onanuga wrote.

 

 

As of the time of reporting, the agenda of the meeting has not been made public.

 

Tinubu is currently on his annual working leave, which began on September 4. The 10-day leave will see him spend time in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
