TikToker reportedly fired for praying that sacked US Attorney General Pam Bondi has worst case of cancer in history

A TikTok user has reportedly lost her job after posting a video in which she appeared to mock and wish suffering on former U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi following reports of her cancer diagnosis.

The user, whose account was identified as @glitterandcrossbones before it was made private, allegedly posted a video praying that Bondi’s reported thyroid cancer would worsen. In the video, she reportedly said: “Please let Pam Bondi’s throat cancer be the worst case of cancer anybody’s ever seen.”

Social media users subsequently identified the woman as an assistant vice president at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union through screenshots of an alleged Facebook profile and a now-deleted LinkedIn account. On Friday, May 29, the credit union announced that an employee had been dismissed following the controversy.

In a statement posted on social media, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union said an unnamed employee had made “offensive comments” on TikTok and confirmed that “the individual is no longer employed by Jeanne D’Arc.” The organisation did not publicly identify the employee but condemned the remarks.

The incident comes after reports that Bondi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after leaving her role in government. According to reports, she has undergone treatment and is currently recovering. The controversy has sparked widespread debate online, with many users criticising the video and arguing that serious illnesses should not be used as subjects for political attacks or personal ridicule.
