Teenage Dream: Chelsea Shatter UEFA Record with Three Teenagers Scoring in Thrilling Win

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, has reacted after his side made history in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Maresca said he was ‘very proud’ of the Blues after they became the first club in the history of the competition to see three teenagers score in one game.

Former Barcelona star, Marc Guiu put Chelsea ahead before Moises Caicedo scored his team’s second.

Former Manchester United striker, Wout Weghorst cancelled one for the visitors before Enzo Fernandez and Estevao Willian scored penalties on the stroke of half-time

Tyrique George made it 5-1 for Chelsea fifth after the break and Chelsea became the first team in Champions League history to have three teenage scorers.

Speaking about the achievements after the game, Maresca told reporters, “[I am] very proud. It’s a special night for the club, for the young players.

“I think Guiu already scored for Chelsea five or six goals last year in the Conference [League]. Ty already scored also in the Premier League.

“Estevao, exactly the same. I think overall it was a great night, especially for these young players and for the club.”
