Super Eagles to face Jordan in friendly amid World Cup uncertainty

Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Jordan in an international friendly in Amman in March, it has been revealed.

Jordan will use the friendly as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nigeria’s availability for the game will however depend on FIFA’s impending ruling on the country’s eligibility protest against Democratic Republic of Congo.

The West Africans are also in talks with Iran for another friendly slated for March.

Jordan will be making their debut World Cup appearance this summer and Jamal Sellami’s side are drawn in a difficult group with title holders Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
