Sowore Criticises Tinubu, Calls for N500,000 Monthly Wage for Workers

The 2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, has described President Bola Tinubu as lazy and clueless.

Sowore noted that Tinubu has no effective solution to Nigeria’s insecurity.

He made the remark against the backdrop of killings in Plateau and Oyo States and Tinubu’s inability to fulfil his promises of deploying 5000 Artificial Intelligence, AI, surveillance cameras to tackle insecurity.

He wrote: “Your lazy and clueless president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat, have no effective solution to Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.

“After the killings in Plateau State, he promised to deploy 5,000 AI-enabled surveillance cameras, yet the violence continues.

Following the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State, he announced plans to deploy 1,000 forest guards, yet kidnappings persist. #OccupyAsoRock #TinubuMustGoNOW.”

The activist politician also declared that he stands firmly with Nigerian workers in the demand for a living wage of N500,000 monthly.

“The nation’s consciousness needs a leader with a conscience, one who can awaken the people and ensure they never again go to sleep on their rights and dignity.

In this harsh Tinubu economy, everyone who earns a salary knows that no human being can live decently on N100,000 a month, yet those in positions of authority have remained silent.

“The suffering is obvious, the injustice is clear, but too many have chosen complacency over courage. A society progresses when its people become conscious of their condition and refuse to accept poverty, exploitation, and inequality as normal,” he said.
