She’s a Terrible Liar” – May Yul-Edochie’s Ex-Lawyer Goes Public with Private Messages Amid Defamation Battle

The rift between May Yul-Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, and her former lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, has escalated further after Ugwuonye took to social media to release private conversations he allegedly had with her regarding her divorce proceedings.

Ugwuonye took to Facebook on Friday, sharing screenshots of chats between himself and May, claiming he had guided and supported her during the legal process.

According to him, he offered her premium treatment, only for her to betray his trust.

The lawyer accused May of being dishonest and manipulative, describing her as a “liar” and a “fake person”.

He went on to caution May to pray he does not release more evidence that could further damage her reputation.

“If you see the chats between us, you will understand how fake May is and what a terrible liar she is. All those who believe her are just pitiable.

“Can you see how I was guiding her on when to get to court. I gave this woman first class treatment. I would send her the Cause List and guide her so she would not wait long before her case would be called,” he wrote.

This comes shortly after May, through her legal representatives Graylaw Partners, issued a cease-and-desist notice against Ugwuonye, accusing him of cyberbullying, defamation and cyberstalking through malicious posts directed at her.
