Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has alerted the public that an impostor has opened a fake Facebook account in his name to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

 

In a statement released by his media office on Sunday, Alli warned constituents and the general public not to fall victim to the scam.

 

“We strongly advise the public not to engage in any transaction or communication with anyone on social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Messenger, or any other similar channels, claiming to represent Senator Alli,” the statement read.

 

The Senator emphasized that he does not solicit funds, personal details, or engage in business dealings through social media.

 

He urged anyone with useful information about the impostor to report to the nearest police station for necessary action.
