Rep Deputy Minority Leader Okechukwu Condoles Enugu Council Chairman over mother’s death

The Deputy Minority  leader of the house  of  representatives and member representing  Anniri/ Awgu/ Orji River federal constituency Hon Toby Okechukwu  has commiserated with Enugu North local government  council chairman Hon Emeka Onunze over  his mother’s death Queen Christiana Mgbeke Onunze. 

Family source told  ugamtv
that madam Onunze also known Nnanyelugo and Okwesileze passed on at Anounciation hospital Emene, Enugu, in the early hours of Friday, 3rd September, 2021 after a brief illness.

In a condolence message  to the local Government council Boss and his family at their Enugu Residence, Okechukwu described the late Christiana  Mgbeke Onunze “as a mother with rare and impeccable qualities,” adding that the family would miss her greatly.

Okechukwu also noted that she has left a big vacuum in the Onunze family, stressing that  it was indeed a tough time for  Enugu Council Boss  and his siblings and and prayed that God should give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“We share in your grief as you mourn the loss of your beloved mother, especially at this time when her wise counsel would have been of immense benefit to the government and the state. 

“I Condole with your  family and  also the entire people of Enugu State over the loss.” he said.

Late Queen was blessed with four children, 3 males including the Mayor of Enugu North and one female.

Queen Onunze in her service years, worked with Enugu State Government Printing Press.

She was also customary court judge.
