A fatal road accident has claimed several lives after a petrol tanker collided with a commercial tricycle at Refinery Junction near Effurun Roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Reports indicate that the tanker experienced brake failure before crashing into the tricycle, killing all the passengers on the spot.

The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the victims badly mutilated.

At the scene, sympathizers and officials of relevant agencies were seen working to clear the debris, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue.
