Open Grazing Deadline: Ohanaeze youth blows hot, say S/E Govs should not disappoint millions of Igbos

Ohanaeze  Ndigbo youth wing has frowned at the inability  of the south east Governors to put in place necessary apparatus  to enforce the ban on open grazing yet as the deadline is fast approaching. 

President-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike in press conference held today, Wednesday 4th, 2021 in Enugu state presented the displeasure of Ndi Igbo and Southeast in the inability of the state governors to curb the menace  of killer Fulani herdsmen in the region.

While briefing newsmen, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike said “we have less than one month to the deadline giving by the Southern governors for a total ban on open-grazing. We have waited, we have watched but no State in the South-East has passed the anti-open grazinglaw.

“This is a time for action. They must not disappoint millions of lgbos  because posterity will not be fair on them. Without wasting more time,  the governors should transmit executive bills to the Houses of Assembly
with immediate effect”.

“The life of our people, especially our women and young who are being raped every day, and our poor rural dwellers mowed down everyday should not be left under the altar of political exigency. The time to act is now”.

“May we state clearly that the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths Worldwide under  my leadership stand totally for the defense of the interest of Ndigbo” they declared.

Mazi Okwu insisted that the Youths Wing of Ohaneze ndi Igbo will never allow anything that will go against the collective interest and unity of our people.
