Online personality and activist Scott Iguma calls out Lagos government over growing lawlessness

Online personality and activist Scott Iguma has raised concerns over what he described as increasing lawlessness and environmental neglect in parts of Lagos, particularly along the Lekki–Epe Expressway.

In his statement, Iguma drew attention to traders allegedly selling cows, goats and sheep directly in front of banks and commercial areas along the expressway, a situation he said poses environmental and safety risks.

He also questioned the enforcement of Lagos State’s transport policies, noting that despite an official ban on keke and bikes in some areas, they are still operating freely without apparent consequences.

According to him, traffic violations such as taking one-way routes have become common, not just among commercial riders but also among some bicycle food delivery riders.

Iguma added that Lagos, once known for stricter order and regulation, now appears poorly enforced, urging the state government and relevant agencies to act now.
