Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Snaps at Interviewer, Walks Off Red Carpet

Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde sparked reactions online after a tense exchange with an interviewer at the Miss Nigeria 2026 event.

In a video that has since gone viral, the actress appeared visibly irritated when the interviewer, while covering the red carpet, prompted her to introduce herself by placing a microphone close to her.

Clearly displeased, Omotola questioned the request, asking why she should be the one to state her name, suggesting the interviewer was unprepared.

“I should tell you my name? You’re not ready,” she said before attempting to walk away, as the interviewer tried to assure her he knew who she was.

In a follow-up clip, both parties appeared to restart the interaction, but the situation escalated again when the interviewer repeated the same approach.

At that point, the actress chose to end the exchange, walking off while firmly warning, “Don’t touch me.”

The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many debating professionalism and respect during celebrity interviews.
