OLUSEGUN OSOBA BECOME NIJ GOVERNING COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

A former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Governing Council of Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

A reliable source in the institute confirmed to our correspondent that he was appointed on Tuesday and was introduced by the Publisher of Vanguard Newspaper, Sam Amuka at a meeting.

President of the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria, Mr Nduka Obaigbena, was also at the meeting.

Former Chairman of the NIJ Governing Council, Alhaji Isa Funtua, died recently.

Osoba is a journalist and politician.
