Notorious Bandit Leader Bello Turji Threatens Sokoto Community Over Dam

Residents of Isa Local Government Area in Sokoto State have reportedly been issued a chilling ultimatum by notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, to drain a local dam or face violent consequences.

The threat was revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by security analyst Bakatsine on Monday. According to the post, Turji claimed the dam was obstructing his gang’s movement through the area, prompting the demand.

“Bandit kingpin Bello Turji has vowed to force villagers in Isa LGA, Sokoto State to drain their dam, warning of brutal consequences for defiance. How is a terrorist bragging like a ruler?” Bakatsine wrote.

As of the time of this report, authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
