New intake photo of Diddy in prison released online

An intake photo of Sean “Diddy” Combs from FCI Fort Dix has been released.

The image appears in a new CBS News piece from editor Cara Tabachnick, which details Combs’ life behind bars since being transferred to the federal correctional facility in New Jersey late last month.

According to the report, Combs has been assigned to work as the chaplain’s assistant, which is considered one of the more desirable assignments at Fort Dix prison. The role comes with a few perks, including access to a private, air-conditioned office and meals often brought in by chaplains for religious services.

A former prison commissioner told CBS News that the chaplain’s assistant is typically responsible for maintaining the chapel’s religious library, cleaning the office, and helping with record-keeping.

“He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding,” Combs’ publicist Juda Engelmayer told the outlet.

Tabachnick also reported that Combs violated a rule by the Bureau of Prisons five days after checking into the Fort Dix prison when he made a three-person call.

The disgraced mogul claimed he and his attorney were discussing a statement for The New York Times when his head of legal communications was included on the call.

Documents pertaining to the call indicate Combs was speaking with an unnamed woman when he mentioned talking with “the digital person” regarding blogs. Combs approved a request to loop that person in on the call. The Bad Boy Records founder briefly spoke about arranging visitors and suggested bringing “200 singles” in cash, even though coins are the only accepted currency in prison.

Earlier this week, Combs denied reports that he was caught drinking alcohol at Fort Dix, calling the allegations “completely false” in a statement on X.

He added that his only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.
