Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has found herself at the center of fresh controversy as her alleged former best friend, Mimi Chima, resurfaced with more damning allegations against her.

 

This follows Mercy Johnson’s unresolved public spat with fellow actress Angela Okorie, who has repeatedly accused the mother of four of witchcraft. Though Mercy had previously promised to address the claims, she has yet to issue any public statement.

 

Reacting to the silence, Mimi Chima shared a video on her Instagram page claiming that Mercy Johnson’s failure to respond is proof of her guilt.

 

“Mercy came out to say she would speak to Nigerians. Nigerians waited, but she said nothing because she has nothing to say. She is a witch,” Chima alleged.

 

Mimi further claimed that the actress is allegedly possessed by more than 100 evil spirits, which, according to her, bring harm to people around Mercy.

 

“She carries over 100 evil spirits. These spirits harm anyone close to her. You could sleep and not wake up,” she said, adding that Mercy’s “powers have failed,” and that the actress no longer knows what to tell the public.

 

Chima’s explosive statements have ignited mixed reactions online, with many urging both sides to provide evidence or stop escalating the drama. Mercy Johnson has yet to respond to these new claims.
