“Michael did everything for me. He was my engine” – Singer Niniola pens glowing tribute to late husband at his service of songs

Nigerian singer Niniola Apata delivered a deeply emotional tribute to her husband of 13 years, Michael Chiedu Ndika, on Thursday, June 4, during his Service of Songs.

 

 

 

Ndika, the CEO of NaijaReview and a longtime talent manager in the Nigerian entertainment industry, passed away on May 19 at the age of 44.

 

 

 

At the solemn gathering, Niniola broke her usual private demeanor to honor her late partner, describing him as her “everything”. The singer shared intimate details about their journey, recounting how Ndika was the “engine” behind her musical success, doing everything in his power to ensure her happiness and career growth.

 

“Michael did everything for me. When he met me, he said I will make you a superstar, and he did,” an emotional Niniola shared with attendees.

 

 

 

Following the Service of Songs, Ndika is scheduled to be laid to rest today, June 5.
