Kidnappers of former Power Minister’s sister and twin sons yet to contact family – Aide

An aide to the immediate past Minister of Power and 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Femi Awogboro, has disclosed that the abductors of the Mrs Busayo John-Paul, the younger sister of the former Minister and her twin sons, Peter and Paul, are yet to contact the family.

 

 

 

Ugamatv reported that unknown gunmen abducted the 12-year-old twin boys and their mother in the Challenge area of Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday, June 3. Read here.

 

 

 

In a chat with The Nation, Awogboro said;

 

“We are still searching, security agencies are still on it and they have promised safe return of the victims. Since yesterday, the family is unsettled, the victim’s husband, who is not in Nigeria, is not happy at all, but he said he believes that security agencies in Nigeria are capable of securing release of his wife and children.”

 

 

 

 

 

Awogboro, however, appealed to the Police and other security agencies to double their efforts in ensuring the victims are released on time.
