“MBah @54: ‘A Rare Leader, God-Sent to Transform Enugu’ — Awgu Chairman Hon. Uche Okolo Celebrates Governor’s Impactful Leadership”

The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has extolled the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, describing him as “God-sent” to the people of Enugu as he marks his 54th birthday on March 17, 2026.

In a special birthday tribute conveyed through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Tochukwu Chukwu, Hon. Okolo praised Governor Mbah’s exceptional leadership style, noting that his emergence at this critical period in the state’s history has brought about unprecedented transformation.

He emphasized that within a relatively short time in office, Governor Mbah has demonstrated rare vision and capacity, particularly through what he described as radical infrastructural development across the state. According to him, the scale and speed of ongoing projects have set a new benchmark for governance in Enugu.

“Governor Mbah is a rare breed of leader whose kind does not come often. His administration has not only redefined governance but has also repositioned Enugu as a fast-growing economy and a preferred destination for investors,” Okolo stated.

The chairman further highlighted the significant improvement in Enugu’s economic profile, noting that the state’s rising Gross Domestic Product (GDP) under Mbah’s leadership has positively altered its development trajectory and enhanced its attractiveness to both local and international investors.

Commending the governor’s dedication and people-centered approach, Okolo said his leadership has been marked by uncommon wisdom, strategic focus, and genuine love for the people of Enugu State.

“Your Excellency, as you celebrate your 54th birthday, we sincerely thank you for your selfless service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth and prosperity of Enugu State. You have demonstrated uncommon dedication since assuming office,” he added.

On behalf of his family and the entire people of Awgu Local Government Area, the council chairman congratulated Governor Mbah on the milestone and prayed for long life, good health, and greater wisdom.

He expressed optimism that the years ahead would usher in even greater accomplishments, as the governor continues to drive sustainable development and deliver lasting dividends of democracy to Ndi Enugu.
