Man Remanded in Prison for Alleged Defilement of 12-Year-Old Boy and Two Others

 

A man in Adamawa State, Abubakar Abdulsalam has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old boy and two others.

Abdulsalam, a resident of Yolde Pate in Yola South Local Government Area, is accused of also sexually abusing two girls aged eight and 10 years respectively.

The incidents occurred at separate times in Yolde Pate last month, according to information gathered on Tuesday.

Abdulsalam was remanded at a correctional centre in Yola by the Chief Magistrate Court II.

He was charged to the court on charges of defilement and unnatural offence, contrary to sections 263 and 211 of the Adamawa State Penal Code Law 2018.

He was charged to court by the Prosecuting Police Officer, Inspector Ibrahim Aliyu, who articulated the charges in his first information report, FIR.
