The Katsina State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has commenced the refund of the 2020 Hajj deposits to intending pilgrims, who have applied for refund, according to a statement by the board’s spokesman, Alhaji Badaru Karofi, on Thursday.

The statement said the refund was based on the directive of Governor Aminu Masari

The statement read in part, “The payment is being made to those intending pilgrims, who deposited for the 2020 Hajj and applied for a refund.

“Alhaji Kuki urged those intending pilgrims, who decided to keep their money against the 2021 Hajj as roll-over, to visit their respective zonal pilgrim offices to fill an agreement form provided by the board.”
