A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Faizu Alfindiki, has said the party is ready to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu strong support and massive votes from Kano in the 2027 elections.

Alfindiki made this known on Wednesday while hosting Tinubu’s social media influencers to a lunch meeting in Kano.

He praised their efforts over the last six months in promoting the President’s achievements and strengthening his re-election chances across the North.

“Our meeting with you this morning is to rejig your activities, address challenges where necessary, and I’m pleased to say that the last six months have been bold and impactful. Your work has helped to position Tinubu’s re-election bid in a firm and positive light in Kano State and the North in general,” he said.

Alfindiki, a former Chairman of Kano Municipal Council, expressed confidence that the 2027 elections would be a defining moment for the north, adding that President Tinubu remains the best choice for the region.

“2027 election is going to be a defining moment for Kano and the Arewa people. For us in Kano, we have chosen Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of his unmatched support for our region,” he said.

Alfindiki warned against ethnic sentiments ahead of the election, stating that the North can no longer be deceived by those using tribalism to gain power.

Alfindiki assured President Tinubu that Kano votes will be delivered to APC on a platter of gold.
